SF State University Property Management provides campus residential accommodations, a full service dining program and resident services to students, faculty, staff and community members. The department enriches the Mission of the University by maintaining an environment which promotes an appreciation of scholarship, human diversity and the cultural mosaic of San Francisco.
University Property Management provides Housing options for students of all ages, as well as faculty and staff. University Housing supports the mission of the University by providing an educational living and learning environment which enhances the academic and co-curricular pursuits of our residents. It also provides summer accommodations on campus for summer conference guests.
Meeting, Event and Catering Services
University Event Services provides meeting, conference, academic and athletic spaces on the 19th Ave. campus and the Downtown Campus to professional groups and non-profit organizations whose event meets the mission of the university. Spaces are available year-round. Catering Services and rental of the Seven Hills Conference Center are offered on campus by Sodexo Hospitality.
Occupying nearly 125,000 square feet on the fifth and sixth floors of the Westfield San Francisco Centre, the Downtown Campus is the home for the College of Business and the College of Extended Learning, the Department of Human Sexualities Studies and the Department of Public Administration. Facilities include 33 classrooms, and nine computer labs. Classrooms and other facilities are available for rent, along with state-of-the-art audiovisual and computer connectivity. Classrooms are configured around a vertical glass-enclosed atrium that offers wonderful views in all directions from the historic sky-lit dome, across to adjoining classrooms and below to shopping activity.
Romberg Tiburon Center
Located on the Tiburon Peninsula on a site with a long history of marine activity, the Romberg Tiburon Center's Mission Statement is to advance understanding of the world's complex marine and estuarine environments through research, education, and outreach, with a focus on San Francisco Bay. The Romberg Tiburon Center faculty working together with students and staff members, conduct focused scientific research that addresses societal needs. Our research programs are structured to maximize the active participation of both SF State undergraduate and graduate students. Our faculty, spanning two colleges and four academic departments (Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Geography and Human Environmental Studies, and Geosciences), create a strong interdisciplinary environment dedicated to training the next generation of scientists and citizens.
